Eaton Corporation Continuous Improvement Analyst in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Eaton’s Power Reliability Divsion is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Analyst. This position is based at our Waukesha, WI location. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates currently residing within the United States/PR.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

The Continuous Improvement Analyst will be responsible for coordinating cost out for the division, across 5 plant locations in the US and Mexico. They will ensure alignment with profit plan and lead Kaizen events impacting cost out and productivity for the Power Reliability Division (PRD).

  • Coordinate Cost Out planning and execution to support profit plan objectives.

  • Conduct deck building events at all PRD sites to identify cost out projects to maintain a healthy pipeline of projects to meet cost out targets.

  • Drive Division productivity Cost Out and Continuous Improvement (CI) Project Portfolio

  • Execute Rapid Improvement Events using the Eaton Continuous Improvement System tools to support plants cost out and productivity goals.

  • Coordinate capital planning and spending across the division to support cost productivity projects.

  • Work with PRD Finance team to communicate strategy for cost out objectives and capital spend by Division and by individual plants.

  • Monitor cost out performance versus profit plan targets and deck status, drive corrective actions as needed.

  • Develop and maintain standard work for Site’s cost out coordinators, provide mentoring and training.

  • Maintain cost out database systems, SharePoint files and reports.

  • Upgrade cost out reports, CI scorecards, and roadmaps with new digital tools, to make them more user friendly and with live information.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Operations in a manufacturing setting

  • Company sponsorship is not offered. Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing capital and/or cost-out processes

  • Project Management experience

  • Experience leading and facilitating structured problem solving events using tools such as: Value Stream Map, 5S+, Standard Work, TPM, Set Up Reduction, Lean Material flow, A3, Root Cause Analysis, etc

  • Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customers

  • Self-motivating and acts in an ethical and truthful manner

  • Broad analytical skills and business acumen

  • Excellent team leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team environment across multiple sites and customers globally

  • May be required to travel up to 50%
