Eaton Corporation Finance Analyst in Tanauan City, Philippines

What you’ll do:

This position provides support in management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating information. It is a must also that position has extensive background on general accounting, costing, planning, forecasting, and reporting function

• Works with individual departments to prepare budgets and consolidate them into one overall corporate budget.

• Prepares monthly rolling forecast.

• Prepares financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information.

• Defines financial situation by completing quantitative and qualitative analyses of all operational aspects of a company.

• Examines and evaluates the cost-efficiency of each department and tracks budget vs actual spent of each department.

• Performs variance analysis (actual vs budget vs forecast).

• Handles Encore and Cost Verse uploading.

• Prepares and analyses Regional reports (CONC, Mfg Productivity, Flex, Expense Analysis, Output & Absorb, MBR & High five, Distribution costs, TP Changes Impact, and VAVE verification).

• Analyses and prepares adjusting entries during month end closing (P&L accounts vs Forecast, Lower of Cost & Market Analysis, Production Order Price & Usage Variance).

• Reviews and approves expense PRs ensuring that GL account and cost center used are correct.

• Provides analysis and valuable inputs regarding the financial impact of different inventory movements to cross functional users and proposing process improvements

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Accounting, CPA

Skills:

• Extensive experience and background on accounting principles

• Proficient on SAP, Hyperion, and Oracle system

• Proficient on Microsoft office tools: Word, PPT, most especially Excel

• Advanced analytical skills, detail-oriented, strategic thinker and planner

• Strong ownership on problem-solving

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Team player

• Exceptional focus and follow through activities, with record of efficiency and productivity
