Eaton Corporation Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Sincan Ankara, Turkey

For our engineering team based in Ankara production plant we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer. You will make the transformer mechanical design,prepare the all 2D&3D drawings and BOM.

What you’ll do:

• Preparing general arrangement drawings according to electrical design outputs in proposal stage.

• Preparing final approval drawings after purchase orders.

• Preparing all 2D&3D production drawings and bill of material list.

• Providing technical support to production.

• Lead the design and production developments.

• Lead the transformer optimization process in terms of mechanical design.

• Preparing technical training for teammates and other support departments.

• Involve & lead the internal quality problem solving process

• Provide technical support to find & evaluate the alternative suppliers and lead the project if needed.

• Monitoring and reporting of production & test result based on design values.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.

• Min 5 years of professional experience working with transformers.

Skills:

• High level technical knowledge of transformer mechanical design.

• Having a strong knowledge of transformer production and materials.

• Experience in working with MS Office and ERP programs.

• Proficient in Solidworks and Autocad(3D and 2D design).

• Strong project-management skills.

• Strong organizational, communication and time management skills

• Capable of working independently as well as within a team.
