Eaton Corporation IT System Analyst - Payroll in Shanghai, China

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for in-depth functional and business process knowledge

  • Work in partnership with divisional and regional financial leadershp and business process owners on system requirements, processes, and systems.

  • Manage requirements scope and disposition through process compliance and gap analysis, integration testing and user acceptance methodology.

  • Provide knowledge and input on the system implications of business process changes.

  • Help to identify consolidated, worldwide target processes.

  • Deliver functional specifications and configuration in line with the agreed and approved design.

  • Develop and implement organizational change management plans.

  • Learn to apply Eaton's product methodology and governance processes to the change control, system development life cycle, and regression testing.

  • Work with governance teams to ensure proposed solutions are in-line with global standards.

  • Participate in business process improvement committees as needed.

  • Interact with senior leaders at the divisional or regional level to explain complex system issues and decision points using common business language (without using IT terms and language).

  • Culivate a culture of innovation.

  • Support end-to-end processes based on intermediate level understanding of system touch points. Responsible for learning touchpoints in order to integrate Eaton's other key platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

  • 7+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience in identifying, illiciting and documenting requirements.

  • Modelling current and future state processes

  • Strong level of system expertise, gathered through numerous project full-life cycle deployments

  • Desirable:

  • Agile and JIRA skills

  • Lean Management principles and techniques

  • Modelling skills using variety of different tools

  • Strong focus on detail and accuracy

  • Self-starter

  • Adept at priortisation

  • Business and Financial acumen

  • Strong leadership skills. Takes on ownership. Strong drive for results

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with senior-level management
