Eaton Corporation China Commercial Director, Mobility Group in Shanghai, China

Eaton’s Mobility Group is hiring a China Commercial Director in Shanghai, China. This position requires 50% travel.

What you’ll do:

Develop business with Chinese OEMs as well as aftermarket, manage and lead sales and product strategy for Mobility Group China. Lead the development of short- and long-term business plans, execute commercial activities to meet or exceed sales targets, control margins and coordinate with other regions to support Mobility Group China Business. Manage accounts and maintain contact with OEMs executives to drive business growth. Analyze the market and develop the right strategies and actions, then coordinate with product lines and regional functional teams to implement the strategies/actions.

• Develop rolling forecasts, OEM/AM sales plans and strategic plans with support from all Mobility Group China functions.

• Achieve or outperform sales targets and be responsible and accountable for profit controls.

• Lead, define and drive growth plans with respective account managers, global product teams and regional teams in line with strategic plans and strategies.

• Define/develop future growth strategies and drive/coordinate across the team in line with the strategy.

• Define/manage growth targets/development and evaluate yearly achievement.

• Maintain/develop strong relationships with Account Managers to executive level.

• Create necessary reports as required by regional and global product group senior management Global Product Lines.

• Build organizational capacity to achieve the vision based on balancing budget and market/customer needs.

• Lead/drive motivation/excellent output across the team.

• Maximize synergies across all functions through continuous improvement of processes/systems across the Mobility China commercial team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

• Minimum of eight years combined sales and/or business experience.

• Bachelor-Degree from Engineering or Business Administration

• Automotive engine/combustion technical knowledge

• Ten-years of automotive industry experience (OEM or Tier One Supplier interactions)

• Eight-years experiences of sales and business development/management

Skills:

• Fluent in financial and accounting disciplines (i.e., P&L, cost accounting, Internal Rate of Return, Net Present Value)

• Customer-facing experience

• English language skills

• Excellent negotiating, interpersonal, communication, and strategic planning skills

• Practical understanding of value-based solution selling

• Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a matrix organization

• Business acumen, ability to plan and execute business plans

• Strong negotiation skills and solid technical background

• Strong sales track record and experience of international complex negotiations

• Ability to influence others outside of a direct reporting relationship
