Eaton Corporation OTC Mexico Tower Lead in Queretaro, Mexico

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a OTC Mexico Tower Lead.

What you’ll do:

Primary Function:

The Mexico OTC Tower Lead is responsible for ensuring Mexico & CAC countries (Mexico, Costa Rica and Caribbean countries) trade credit, collection, management of bad debt and accounts receivable activities are in conformance with the policies and standards established. This position is also responsible in driving partnerships with VPs / GM’s /BUMs/Sales directors across all segments in Mexico, CAC and US businesses, corporate directors and VP’s and external business process outsourcers to drive and execute improved receivable performance. The Tower lead will own the delivery of receivable performance and stakeholder relationships in the region.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Accountable for a $250M monthly receivable portfolio.

• Working knowledge and experience with Credit Limit analysis, large Trade collections and cash application

• Within the region, lead/drive the OTC delivery function, leading strategic initiatives and embedding a culture of continuous improvement through the delivery team while meeting customer delivery deadlines and quality standards.

• Act as a liaison with the OTC Global Delivery Lead and GFSS LATAM lead to enable efficient delivery.

• Maintain a high level of utilization across the delivery team. Participate in strategic planning activities for the OTC function.

• Continuously assess and optimize the OTC process to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.

• Ensure that all OTC activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

• Provide input to global OTC delivery lead if OTC processes need to be adjusted for region-specific statutory/regulatory requirements.

• Develop frameworks for success and focus strategically and proactively on approaches that improve the quality of the receivable asset in the region.

• Keep global OTC delivery lead informed with detailed and accurate metrics, reports or presentations.

• Monitor AR portfolio and working capital trends to manage issues, accelerate cash flow, identify opportunities for process improvement and provide KPI’s, commentary and analysis for global OTC process lead senior commercial leaders.

• Manage Eaton retained resources and manage external business process outsourcers.

Qualifications:

Education level required Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent.

Years and area of experience required Minimum of 10 years of finance experience with 5 years of detailed knowledge of OTC processes (trade credit, cash application, collection, and insolvency)

Experience as a manager

Bilingual english/spanish

Skills:

Technical knowledge

• Possesses significant business knowledge as well as technical expertise with Eaton’s financial systems (including Oracle R12, SAP, MFG, Vista)

• Proactively identifies business and technology drivers that impact receivable performance.

• Previous experience in managing the financial metrics for shared services, 3rd party relationships.

• Must be able to work with Mexico, CAC and North America senior leadership team to execute long-term improvements in OTC processes.

• Deep knowledge on income statements and balance sheet analysis to determine suitable credit limits to new/updated customers.

• English and Spanish proficiencies are a must.

• This leader must be able to develop and/or evaluate a business case for change by analyzing, researching, and leveraging industry benchmarking and best practices.
