Eaton Corporation Senior Analyst- Oracle HRMS in Pune, India

What you’ll do:

Eaton Information Technology Center located in Pune, India is looking for an Full Stack Engineer/ Oracle HRMS Senior Analyst with technical and functional expertise across Core HRMS & SSHR modules. This position will be part of the EITC reporting into the HR Product - Technical leader.

The primary objective of Oracle HRMS Senior Analyst is to work on Projects and Enhancement request related to Oracle HRMS.

This position is of Oracle Apps – HRMS Techno functional profile with good experience and knowledge on Oracle Core HRMS setups & SSHR modules. Should have good hands-on experience in PL/SQL development, Oracle APIs, Alerts, Workflows, Self Service Personalization, OAF Extensions, Data Conversion, Interfaces and Work Structures. Knowledge of HRMS Security, XML Publisher Reports, OBIEE Reports, Web ADIs will be an added advantage. Requires excellent written & oral communication skills to work directly with customers on tickets.

This position also requires understanding & knowledge of following:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve the incidents related with Oracle HRMS.

• Resolves user requests in a timely manner.

• Work closely with other teams e.g. DBA’s, HR Technologies to ensure tickets are addressed in timely manner.

• Documents and create the knowledge repository.

• Identify the opportunity of Continuous improvement and drive the same.

Candidate must demonstrate proficiency working in Oracle HRMS and PL/SQL, to coordinate and communicate HR Projects; handle escalations; and ensure alignment between the sector goals, IT strategy, and Incidents/Requests. Provide technical expertise on matters related to Oracle HRMS modules, create technical design documents, specifications and provide technical inputs regarding assigned tasks when presented with options. Fusion HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, APIGEE and ORDS knowledge would be an added advantage

A. Reports trends / suggests long term improvements

B. Drives continuous improvements. Looks for root cause and permanently resolves problems. Detects patterns in symptoms and identifies long-term, permanent resolutions. (Demonstrates Problem Management Expertise)

C. Performs preventative maintenance. Identifies areas where improvements can be made to prevent future production problems and implements the solution before the problem occurs.

D. Manages project deliverables, problem and change management with EATON specified targets.

E. Works collaboratively with team members to achieve team and organization goals and demonstrates the ability to work within a global team environment.

F. Provides an understanding of both technology and business concepts and is able to articulate business processes.

G. Consults with customers and IT managers to develop, define, and prioritize work assignments and work delivery. Demonstrate excellent customer focus.

H. Ensures sign-off on all major system deliverables by stakeholders

I. Ensure compliance with SNOW Change Management standards and guidelines

J. Assist in acquiring and developing talent.

Qualifications:

• B.E / BTech / MCA / B.S. Comp Science / Mathematics / Engineering / Equivalent

• Total Exp: 7+ yrs in Oracle Apps techno functional expertise

Skills:

• Must have knowledge of trouble shooting Production and Project developments scenarios.

• Must have excellent customer relationship management skills.

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and high drive for results.

• Must possess ability to deal with ambiguity and to adapt to changing business needs

• Good understanding of key HR processes which impact system design/ functionality of HR applications.

• Builds rapport with the business process team to discuss current state and future plans.

• Is able to bench-mark a particular business process across business units and external to Eaton.

• Demonstrates ability to question and investigate technical experts or suppliers for potential solutions.

Solution Delivery

• Reviews assigned tasks and ensures that alternatives were considered. Gathers and understands business requirements.

• Identifies multiple alternatives to resolve business needs. Considers impact of solution initiation or change; can link to communication plans. Coordinates testing and implementation activities.

• Can quickly determine the relative magnitude and likelihood of success of a given solution. Efficiently identifies solutions that will likely deliver the best results.

Level of System and IT Knowledge

• Intermediate to advanced understanding of Core HRMS ; Self Service; Oracle Time and Labor, Oracle Payroll and Absence Management Applications.

• Good understanding and ability to work on Interfaces, Reports, Conversions, Extensions, Workflow, Alerts, WEB ADI and Forms using Oracle Apps development technologies.

• Intermediate level of understanding of Key integration points between HRMS and other global applications.

• Fusion HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, APIGEE and ORDS knowledge would be an added advantage.

Preferred

• OA Framework Knowledge

• ITIL Certification

• Should have very strong interpersonal skills.

• Should have experience of direct customer involvement and requirements analysis.

• This person should be extremely capable of dealing with many cultures around the globe.

• This person would need to coordinate and communicate projects and enhancements, handle escalations among multiple stakeholders.
