What you’ll do:

Manager to lead GEIS Electrical Sector North America supporting business sector/segment in GFSS RTR. Purpose will be to be leader of leaders (manager of managers). Enables connect with GEIS divisional/HQ/Senior leaders in business and North America Controllership. Leads team operationally and responsible for key metrics of RTR. Leads collaboration with GFSS verticals and driver's synergies. Define critical function opportunities and needs. Being change agent and thought leader for transformation under Accounting and Controllership Optimization. Assess needs and drive initiatives. Lead with global mindset. Collaborates with key NAC and GEIS stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve business performance.

Process Centric - Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and processes (RTR, OTC & PTP) with due focus in managing end to end accounting in the RTR function. Ensure an accurate and timely book close: monthly, quarterly and year end. Also, ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information including performing variance analysis. Acts as intermediary & escalation point for various Functional and business customers.

•Control & Compliance – Implement and drive a Zero Gap culture in the process by proactively identifying and remediating the risks in the process. Ensure compliance with Eaton’s Financial Policies, US GAAP and Local GAAP and the various controls defined by Eaton’s Internal Control Program Office including SOX. Closely work with auditors and will be responsible for closure of all internal audit / SOX gaps identified.

•Collaboration & Partnership - Collaborates with stakeholders to support overall goals and objectives and function as a “business partner”. Work closely with Plant Finance/ Division Controller, Global Process Leaders on inquiries, special reporting requests and the like. Ability to cut across functions and drive cross functional initiatives which contribute to ultimate Eaton Goals. Work with the Controller to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit. Interface with customers to ensure that customers receive outstanding customer service. Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer centric solutions

•Quality culture -Drive and leverage various systems and tools to automate processes and drive process improvements. Embracing leveraging and teaching the Eaton Business System.

•Process Standardization - Regular review of existing controls and Governance of the standard processes and ensuring alignment to global defined SSC processes

•Team Management and Build organization capability – Will be responsible for managing a highly skilled and talented team through the development of functional and technical knowledge. Also, ensure seamless support to plant controller through effective team management and back up planning. Monitors and analyzes team’s work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Responsible to build Service Maturity, develop critical path to achieve strategy. Responsible for high performing and competent team. Improve formalized standards and procedures in using new technologies and facilitates others in learning new technologies. Support Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements. Owns, drives and delivers on continuous improvement actions/initiatives. Achieves annual/project efficiency goals.

Qualifications:

Professional candidate (CA/ICWA/CS/MBA or equivalent), or post graduate from reputed institution.

12 to 20 years with people management in F&A or related areas
