Eaton Corporation Supply Chain Analyst in Olean, New York

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst. This role is based out of our Olean, NY location.

The Supply Chain Analyst will have responsibility for assisting the Supply Chain Management (SCM) department in analysis of data pertaining to Vendor Adds, Blocked Invoices and Sourcing Projects. This role will also be responsible for managing the execution of good receipts invoicing records (GRIR), invoicing issues, as well as purchasing for material repair operations (MRO), engineering and facilities. This position will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager, and will interface with customer service, internal and external suppliers, and multiple site functions to ensure a high level of support to satisfy the customer.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $52499.97 - $76999.96 a year.

What you’ll do:

  • Interact with suppliers to communicate delivery expectations, forecasts, design changes, lead time management, and material expedites or delays to ensure suppliers meet Supplier On Time Delivery (SOTD) goals.

  • Review purchase requisitions, place purchase orders, issue change notices, and review exception messages to ensure delivery of materials or services as necessary to adhere to production schedules.

  • Maintain material master records for assigned materials; ensure accurate Purchasing Information Records (PIR) records, and source lists, and promptly reconcile supplier invoices for payment.

  • Work cross-functionally to resolve complaints and clear blocks, Provide root cause corrective action when needed.

  • Proactively avoid material shortages

  • Review and maintain purchase order date accuracy and maintain Material Requirement Planning (MRP) health.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program

  • Minimum of one co-op / internship experience

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without company sponsorship

  • No relocation benefit is offered for this role. Only candidates residing within the immediate Olean, NY area (50 miles) will be considered for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with purchasing and planning using SAP

  • Experience performing purchasing functions in a manufacturing environment

  • Minimum 1 year of experience performing Supply Chain related functions in a manufacturing environment
