The Crouse Hinds (Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions) division is part of Eaton’s electrical sector and has over 125 years of experience in protecting people, processes and assets in the most challenging environments. Our strategic focus is on driving growth, leveraging innovation and building capability across our global network towards diverse customer base - end-users, EPCs, integrators, OEMs and distributors.

We are seeking a Product Manager to play a pivotal figure in the lifecycle of a product, tasked with the anticipation and navigation of potential delays, adept at resolving issues that require higher management intervention, and skilled in fostering consensus among stakeholders. This role demands clear and effective communication to articulate the product vision, roles, and expectations.

The Product Manager is responsible for identifying and championing key opportunities, as well as innovating and overseeing initiatives to boost product efficiency. As the central figure of the product, the Product Manager provides comprehensive pre and post-launch support, ensuring they are well-versed in all product facets and communicate any changes promptly.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with GPLM/PLM to achieve financial targets, ensuring end-to-end profitability and sales growth.

  • Partner with sales agents to align order intake forecasts with profit plan goals.

  • Conduct pricing and cost analysis to match market expectations and margin objectives.

  • Facilitate the Voice of the Customer (VOC) process, integrating feedback into product development.

  • Work with GPLM to convert VOC inputs into actionable new product ideas and projects.

  • Develop, test, document, and refine product requirements documents for new product development.

  • Oversee marketing responsibilities and documentation in Pro-Launch new product development projects.

  • Contribute to the Product Roadmap and ensure alignment with RTK product lines.

  • Launch products effectively, coordinating with marketing communications, engineering, sales, and product line teams.

  • Assist GPLM in strategic planning and crafting the product line strategic plan.

  • Perform competitive analysis, maintain market awareness, and develop product competitive comparisons.

  • Create and update essential presentations and spreadsheets for various organizational needs.

  • Provide technical applications support for RTK, including product training, use cases, product selector guides, datasheets, customer support, and applications testing.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience an Industrial environment- Ideally Power

Skills:

  • Knowledge of using a CRM system- C360

  • Knowledge in Industrial or Power sectors

  • Advanced Excel, Power Bi knowledge

  • MTL route to market & customer base,

  • Competent in Std MS packages (outlook-Teams-Word etc)

  • Persuasive communication- understanding of global cultures, habit of work profiles, insights, utilisation of existing processes and global available resources across Eaton
