Eaton Corporation Machine Operator in La Grange, North Carolina
Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Machine Operator. The core hours are 7:00am to 3:30 pm. The hourly rate for this position is $16.25 per hour.

What you’ll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION :
This position is responsible for the set up and operation of various machines to produce quality parts based on pre-determined specifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece or setup requirements
Sets up, starts, and observes machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and troubleshoots or adjusts machine controls as required
Rotates through department and operates a variety of machines as directed
Completes changeovers and material feed-through
Completes first piece inspections and machine guarding checklists
Uses gauges and calipers to inspect and verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of LOCATION (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Knowledge of various measuring instruments and ability to read blueprints.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
