Eaton Corporation Senior Aftermarket Planner in Jackson, Mississippi

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Senior Aftermarket Planner. This position is based at our Jackson, MS facility.

The Jackson facility has approximately 500 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

The Senior Aftermarket Planner is responsible for driving on-time delivery (OTD) through material flow planning and ensuring optimal scheduling of production units.

What you’ll do:

  • Produce and maintain forecast for Aftermarket Spares and Repairs using Demantra software and other analytical tools.

  • Create and maintain Repair Bill of Materials through use of Demantra and other inputs.

  • Create and sustain an Aftermarket Consensus demand plan. Analyze data, Lead Demand Planning meetings and supply the data for our SIOP process

  • Generate and maintain Aftermarket Safety Stock to support On-time delivery and Inventory Targets.

  • Analyze historical patterns to support data for Min / Max process (Bank Units and Repair Components.

  • Analyze and drive root cause for Aftermarket Spares and Repairs OTD.

  • Create and manage Aftermarket Spares Sales Flash Process. Also Lead the once a week meeting driving actions to meet our Monthly Sales Plan.

  • Update and Manage data for key Aftermarket Metrics. (OTD, OTR, Daily Takt, Q70 load, Q70 Burndown, Repair Shortage data)

  • Create and manage Aftermarket Repair Capacity data

  • Update Aftermarket Repairs Sales Flash data weekly. Identify and expedite key shortages to support Aftermarket Customer On-time Delivery and Sales Plan.

  • Drive successful improvements for ERP Health Measures.

  • Lead and Support Key Continuous Improvement activity for the Aftermarket

  • Perform Safety Gemba’s and complete site Safety requirements Monthly.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience performing material planning in supply chain or manufacturing

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 60 miles of the Jackson, MS facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience performing material planning in Supply Chain or Manufacturing

  • APICS Certification.

  • Thorough knowledge of Aerospace industry, complex machined materials management, lean manufacturing, product scheduling and MRP/ERP.

  • Lean or Six Sigma Certification as well as FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification.

  • Strong PC Skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), especially strong Microsoft Excel skills.
