What you’ll do:
"Eaton India Innovation Center (EIIC) - Aeropace FED Ducting & Joints Business has an 'Associate Engineer' open position. In this position, the incumbent is responsible for successful execution of Aerospace Joints projects, design & development Aerospace related Joints products, sustaining engineerimg, driving protfolio/project KPIs and ensure Internal Customer satisfaction.
This position would involve executing & collaborating with experienced engineers, provide follow-up and engineering assistance on defined problems. Assists in preparing reports, graphs, planning layouts, and summaries designed to communicate project progress or results. Participates as a team member, helps define/refine methods and actively contributes towards team goals. Follows technical documentation requirements and engineering processes, risk management, detail design & analysis."
"The candidate in this position is responsible to -
• Execute and support New Product Design and Development through Eaton PROLaunch / PreLaunch/ACES Engineering processes,B&Ps.
• Proficient in various 3D CAD modules such as solid modeling, sheet metal, tubing/ piping etc. Follows set of internal/external standards for modelling, drafting, formats creation.
• Has basic knowledge of GD&T, fits, tolerance, materials, manufacturing process to achieve intended product form and functions.
• Applies basic knowledge of engineering principles, failure theories, mechanical design standards and practices to assigned tasks.
• Foundational level of Problem Solving, Dfx, Process Management (LEAN, PLM, DMAIC), Innovation skills.
• Know how of Digital tools/langauages.
• Know how of Product Testing and Qualification
• Communicate effectively globally and at all organizational levels.
• Communication & manage internal customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business.
• Sustains process for design standards and procedures governing product design methods, documents and data control for the associated business group.
• Learning agility to understand & assimilate varied technologies & product knowledge.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechnical Engineering
Bachelor's degree - 0 to 2 years experience in Design, development and validation of mechnical couplings & joints, mechanical components
