Eaton Corporation Material Planner in Greenwood, South Carolina
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Material Planner. This role is based out of our Greenwood, SC location.
The Material Planner is responsible for the procurement, pull, flow, expediting of material and identification and resolution of materials issues and shortages within the plant consistent with operating objectives. Works with buyers, coordinators, supply chain technicians, production, and suppliers to assure the effective operation of the materials process and system.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $43499.97 - $63799.96 a year.

What you’ll do:
You will schedule and purchase material through the SAP system, including material purchases.
You will expedite materials with suppliers to improve dates to meet customer needs, via email, Vista, and phone
Promote good working relationships with internal suppliers and within the plant between the SCM Organization, Manufacturing, Marketing, Quality, and Engineering
Proactively manage potential material shortages via Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) (PO past dues, PO critical overdues, PO no promise dates, PO review)
You will work with the team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive assigned projects to completion.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
One year of experience within production, procurement, or engineering within a manufacturing environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Relocation is not offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Greenwood, SC area (50 miles) will be considered for this position (with exception of internal candidates currently assigned to one of our Greenwood, SC sites)
Preferred Qualifications :
Associates degree from an accredited institution
Experience with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Knowledge of computerized inventory systems gained from previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
SAP Experience
