Eaton Corporation Marketing & Communications Strategist in Ellisville, Missouri

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Marketing & Communications Strategist. This role is based out of our Ellisville, MO location.

The Senior Marketing & Communications Technical Specialist role requires a candidate who is a self-starter, capable of solving complex problems, and can thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment. The role requires both a creative and analytical mindset with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments while prioritizing the most essential tasks. Most of all, this role requires a candidate with a desire for continuous learning and professional growth.

The Senior Marketing & Communications Technical Specialist is an individual contributor and will report to the Marketing & Communications Manager for the Bussmann division of Eaton.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights and information for content creation

  • Holding marketing project meetings with key stakeholders to assign actions, owners, and deadlines

  • Creating new and/or updating existing brochures, catalogs, advertisements, signage, videos, photography, social media, and other product literature

  • Gathering accurate information to write SEO focused product descriptions

  • Collaborating with product managers to develop effective marketing plans for new and existing products. This includes utilizing marketing planning guides to assist in the planning process

  • Managing and organizing a marketing calendar to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content

  • Managing and maintaining vendor relationships for outside project support as needed

  • Creating and tailoring content to effectively communicate value while maintaining Eaton brand standards

  • Communicating with distributors using a high degree of professionalism

  • Staying up to date on industry trends and advancements

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, media studies, communications, or a related field from an accredited institution

  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in marketing

  • Portfolio including writing & layout design samples must be submitted

  • Must be able to work legally in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or within the future

  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years’ experience in B2B marketing

  • Website management experience

  • Photography or video production experience

  • Familiarity with marketing strategy

  • Forward thinking/familiarity with emerging technology

  • Familiarity with B2B sales cycles

Skills:

  • Ability to share ideas, opinions, and to contribute to the creative process

  • Willingness to receive professional feedback

  • Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage multiple projects at a time

  • Proficiency in:

  • Copywriting

  • Layout design

  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Marketing strategy

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in technical writing

  • Ability to think strategically
