Eaton Corporation Senior Distributor Sales Specialist in Dallas, Texas

Eaton’s ES APAC ELXD division is currently seeking a Senior Distributor Sales Specialist

This position is based remotely in Dallas, TX. No relocation assistance will be provided for this role.

What you’ll do:

The primary function of Senior Distributor Sales Specialist is to manage and demonstrate strong knowledge of the assigned channel partners within the territory to increase POS sales in the marketplace and provide sales and training. This position will be responsible for directly interfacing with distributors within the Americas by providing a variety of sales training, support, account/target identification and coordination between our Reps, RSM’s and Distribution Managers."

Essential Functions:

  • Outside Branch Sales for our Channel - link Corporate Channel strategy to field (sales growth, target accounts, new biz opportunities NBO's, NPI (new products))

  • You will be assigned a territory (The Americas) that is very dynamic in terms of distributor complexity, volume of locations, and territory size

  • You will partner with regional sales director, distribution manager, FAE and sales reps on a channel strategy and plan each year; and effectively execute this plan against set targets (POS focus)

  • You will make recommendations to management and channel managers to increase effectiveness of initiatives and programs

  • You will track and measure distributor growth using sales reporting tools on an on-going basis.

  • You will independently develop and implements action plans targeted at YOY growth and agreed performance levels.

  • You will make recommendations to management and channel managers regarding potential challenges or issues on a case-by-case basis, offering solutions and pro-actively scheduling joint sales calls in coordination with our reps and internal team.

  • You will train distributors on the value proposition of Eaton ELXD and seek target accounts for our mutual benefit. "

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • Three(3)yearsexperienceinanoutsidesalesrole

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

  • No relocation assistance will be provided for this role. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology

  • 3 - 5 years within Electronics Sales and knowledge of distribution

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $100,000-$143,000.

Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
