Eaton’s IS AER ITD Aerospace Interconnect division is currently seeking a Program Manager I.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $92287.53 - $135355.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

Eaton’s Aerospace ITD (Interconnect Technologies Division) is seeking a NPD Program Manager I in Camarillo, CA location.

Position Overview:

The NPD Program Manager I will be responsible for the successful execution of the NPD (New Product Development) Project(s) and sustaining projects and their budget allocation Support the Integrated Product Team(s) to drive customer satisfaction, continuous

improvement and life of the program financial performance by managing projects, contracts, and business relationships.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manages effective customer communications.

• Provides Program interface with the customer.

• Improve organization responsiveness to customer requirements.

• Communicates and manages customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business.

• Ensures standard program management processes are utilized and adequate support to the program and project teams by coordinating PM reviews, preparing & publishing PM metrics and reports.

• Maintain metrics for program for financials, quality, schedule, technical performance and delivery through all of the PROLaunch Phase Gate Process.

• Manages effective risk management.

• Works with IPT teams to define project risks (threats and opportunities), and proactively identifies mitigation actions.

• Coordinates all risks and requirements of the program into a complete integrated entity. This is accomplished by planning, controlling, and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved.

• Ensure effective change management process is utilized.

• Provides periodic program updates (Program Status Report – Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule).

• Provides updates to the business units as well as divisional, and group levels.

• Maintains Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the project

• Excellent communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution.

• Minimum 3-5 years of Program Management or Project Management within a New product Development in manufacturing/operations environment.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer.

• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.

• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

• Relocation .. or.. Remote Work is not available for this role. Candidate must work onsite daily & currently be local residing within 50 miles of Camarillo, California.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree

• Experienced in Aerospace New Product Development (NPD) projects

• Proven Leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team (IPT) environment across multiple sites and customers globally.

• Some level of expertise in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools.

• Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP)

• Broad knowledge of the Aerospace industry

Additional Information:

• Position requires interaction with customers, customer representatives, auditors, regulatory agencies and all internal departments/functions/levels.

• Limited travel may be required (<10 - 15%)
