Eaton Corporation Key Account Manager - Project Sales in Bucharest, Romania

For our Country Sales Organization in Romania, we are looking for a Key Account Manager - Project Sales.

The role is part of the Project Sales team.

In this role, you will have direct responsibility for developing large projects for low and medium voltage solutions, with high focus on utilities & energy, commercial construction, industrial, and infrastructure segments.

Locations: opened remotely for Bucharest & Cluj - Napoca

Travel rate to customers is up to 50% of the working time, across the country

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing a sustainable pipeline for 1-3 years, having a high focus on closing revenue assigned as per each year profit plan

  • Understand the market including competitors, customers and their needs, and internal capabilities

  • Technical review of project documentation. Interpret specs and customer inquiries and design technical proposals and pricing for customers

  • Responsible for developing the business opportunities for the assigned customer portfolio, within the segments targeted as per each year profit plan such as commercial construction, industry, infrastructure, utility segments but not limited to the them

  • Responsible for creating strong partner relationships for the ongoing projects to enhance long term business prospects

  • Demonstrate tenacity in meeting customer's requirements together with an ability to influence both internally and externally at level of the organization to deliver an excellent service

  • Build and maintain a strong partnership with designers, general contractors, installers, investors

  • Specify commercial and technical requirements for the project being able to lead the full cycle of the projects

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and enabling business development opportunities cross the organization

Qualifications:

  • Technical University Degree (Electrical is preferred)

  • 10+ years of Sales experience in the electrical field - B2B, solid experience with low voltage and medium voltage products, and knowledge of the major players on the low and medium voltage market in Romania

  • Project Management skills & experience with managing large projects

  • Know-how of the utilities & energy market is highly preferred

  • Proficient level with Microsoft Office suite

  • Customer & results orientation, strategic thinking, problem solving & solid negotiation skills

  • Fluent in English language

  • Available to travel up to 50% of the working time
