Eaton Corporation Master Data Management Specialist in Bonn, Germany
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Master Data Management Specialist to join Eaton’s PMCC division that offer a range of power management and control components. You will join the Product Master Data Management team and autonomously ensure that master data related projects & initiatives are managed successfully in due time and with high data quality.
You will act as strong multiplier across various MDM related systems, initiatives and internal disciplines (e.g. turning requirements into sustainable data models, steering & contributing into MDM related projects & enrichment activities across multidisciplinary, heterogenous teams or handling of large data volumes for analytics, script-based automation of recurring actions and data quality initiatives. In addition, you will contribute into securing an end-to-end view on MDM and thereby ensure that the subsequent internal publication to consuming systems is executed in a timely and consistent manner.
Your responsibilities will include:
Transforming business requirements into robust data models
Guide and drive correct implementation of future data models into core systems
Defend a high level of data quality and secure proper data governance for the entire PMCC product range of a 6-digit number of products
Contribute actively into major projects such as the introduction of a new global PIM system and/or the migration onto S/4HANA
Autonomously drive data quality analysis, derive and define necessary actions and execute and/or steer large volume of product master data updates in affected systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with postgraduate qualification in MDM or related field preferred
Previous experience in a similar role handling high volume of data
Experiences with steering of shared service centers & multidisciplinary, heterogenous teams
Skills:
Data driven mindset, good knowledge of leveraging PIM-systems, ETL-tools and Data-Syndication
Pro-active, self-driven and autonomous
Comprehensive end-to-end understanding
Willingness to integrate (even in a non-integrated system landscape)
Technical background / experience in data based online marketing and/or digitalization
Advanced English language skills; German is a strong plus
