What you’ll do:

You will be part of a team that assembles high performance hydraulic pumps, motors, electrical generators, and other components, used to operate flight control systems on civil and military aircraft. What you’ll do:

• The primary function of this role is to Assemble new hydraulic pumps, motors, and generators.

• The applicant must be able to interpret drawings and have the necessary skills to build Aerospace product with the use of an SOP.

• From detailed assembly drawings and product documentation, performs detailed assembly of hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical products, completing necessary batch documentation to ensure traceability requirements.

• Under instruction from supervision will perform visual and dimensional checks to rectify failure mode recording remedial actions on batch documentation.

• Has responsibility for quality and performance of all products within the incumbents declared capability.

• Other duties will include involvement in 5S and lean manufacturing activities and at times participate in 8D investigations.

Qualifications:

• An Aerospace qualification or other similar manufacturing assembly qualification would be advantageous.

• Previous experience in assembly practices preferably within an Aerospace environment.

Skills:

• The applicant must be diligent and able to work to small tolerances as well as gain a "stamp" to sign off their work to confirm it has been completed in accordance with all relevant specifications.

• Working knowledge of Eaton Aerospace products, policies and associated assembly techniques and performance test methods.

• Ability to read assembly drawings and interpret Production Acceptance Test requirements for test set up configuration.

• General understanding of Hydraulic circuitry for recognition of test performance and associated unit problems.

• Ability to work closely within a team environment and contribute effectively to problem solving activities.
