Eaton Corporation Project Manager - Finance Transformation in Beachwood, Ohio

Eaton’s NAFSC North America Financial Services Center division is currently seeking a Project Manager - Finance Transformation. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location, hybrid work schedule available.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for managing significant global transformational projects, as well as support of technology and communications platforms within the Controllership and Global Financial Services & Systems function.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute strategic projects and modernization of internal controls framework projects. Assist in the development of global finance transformational initiatives and programs.

• Coordinate across disciplines and countries to establish standard systems and processes, including support and improvement of Project PMO processes.

• Assist with development of playbooks, processes, and methodologies to be rolled out to all of Eaton’s global regions, institutionalizing the process and project management knowledge in Eaton.

• Manage global financial projects using waterfall and agile methodologies and related tools such as Microsoft Projects and Jira.

• Effectively communicate with our internal customers and our global finance team to complete projects per agreed upon project timelines and budget, including update for project status, risks, issues, and mitigation steps to ensure quality completion of projects .

• Analyze financial processes, and facilitate recording of business requirements, project charters, communication plans, project plans, and roadmaps.

• Define project roles/responsibilities and align/manage internal & external resources globally to achieve project deliverables, including internal customers, database administrators, IT staff and software vendors.

• Resolve project issues, including researching and recommending solutions for design and development work on projects and processes.

• Establish and track project metrics and perform benchmarking to improve processes.

• Champion project management and scorecard measures while collaborating with other project managers to standardize and leverage best practices.

• Maintain security and data integrity within the financial systems supported by Controllership and Global Financial Shared Services.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a Business or IT related field from an accredited institution required.

• Minimum 4 years of varied accounting, information systems, finance, or shared services experience.

• Minimum 2 years of project management related experience.

• No relocation is being offered for this position, only candidates within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered.

• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information systems from an accredited institution

• PMP/CPA/CMA preferred.

• Experience in project PMO, quality initiatives, value stream mapping

• Oracle and/or SAP Financial Systems experience.
