What you’ll do:
Lead the design efforts on behalf of Eaton supporting the technical consultants, contractors, and end users with design specs, offering optimized solution ensuring all designs meet industry standards and client requirements.
Coordinate with construction teams to ensure that the build phase adheres to design specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
Develop and advocate for the use of modular and prefabricated components to enhance efficiency, reduce construction time, and improve scalability.
Ensure seamless integration of modular and prefab solutions with existing infrastructure and systems.
Prepare detailed and competitive tender documents, including technical specifications, material submittals, cost estimates, and project timelines.
Design and specify electrical systems, including Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) switchgear, busways, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), and white space equipment.
Lead the testing and commissioning phases to verify that all systems are functioning as intended and meet project specifications.
Provide ongoing support to clients post-installation, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Work closely with local and regional teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to ensure cohesive project execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required
Min 6 years of experience in electrical industry preferably in data Center solutions, UPSs, and prefab / modular solutions
Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution systems, including substations, transformers, and switchgear
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in AutoCAD or Revit, electrical design software, and related tools
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as IEC/ IEEE/UL.
